Footstool Workshop
This workshop is a great introduction to upholstery and the opportunity to create your very own footstool which is yours to take pride of place in your home at the end of the workshop.
We will provide you with your very own in house solid made footstool frame and modern tulip feet which can be painted or waxed to match your fabric.
Step by step guidance and demonstrations through each stage of your footstool upholstery construction will ensure you gain all the knowledge and confidence to tackle similar projects at home.
Materials provided include:
Solid wood footstool frame
x 4 modern tulip feet
Webbing
Hessian
Foam
Dacron
Calico
Bottom Cloth
Decorative studs
All Paint, Waxes and Decorative Materials.
All tools are provided, you can select your preference from a manual staple gun or a compressor operated staple gun. We can happily teach you both.
Each attendee is required to bring along 1 metre of their chosen fabric, light to medium weight fabric is perfect. Calico is included within the upholstery process which is suitable for fabric which isn’t fire retardant. Of course, fabric which is fire retardant is welcomed.
Footstool dimensions: W60cm x D38cm x H28.5cm
This workshop is designed for beginners or participants with some experience. No sewing required.
The workshop will last approximately 6 hours with lunch provided and will be held at our shop:

Cancellation Policy: Can't make the workshop? Don't worry, all bookings can be moved to the next available workshop or refunded if 7 days notice from the date of the proposed workshop is given in writing or by telephone.
(Workshops can only be moved once and if the cancellation policy is not applied the workshop booking payment is non-returnable.)
