Bottle Lamp and Shade Making Workshop

Make your own bottle lamp as a gift or for your own home.

The workshop will teach you how to wire up your chosen bottle with an inline switch and internal cable through a pre-bored hole. We will have a selection of bottles available to choose from which will all be pre-drilled. We will provide you with a step by step guide on how to bore a hole should you wish to make another bottle lamp at home and provide you with your very own 10mm tile and glass drill bit to take away at the end of the workshop.

We will teach you step by step how to create your drum lampshade. A 20cm diameter shade frame will be provided to place onto your newly fitted bottle lamp.

Everything is provided for you with the exception of your chosen fabric, please ensure the fabric isn’t too heavy, textured or with any embellishments. A plain or printed cotton, linen or tweed works great.

Lampshade Template Measurements: W64.5cm x H22cm
Minimum Fabric Required: W80cm x H40cm

Please bring along a bag to safely take your completed bottle lamp.

This workshop is designed for beginners, there isn’t any sewing required.
