Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™ Transfer Leaf
Transfer leaf is useful for gilding large surface areas, such as walls or a large piece of furniture. It is very lightly adhered to a tissue making it possible to pick up and apply the leaf easily with the tissue uppermost. Stick the leaf on to a surface coated with Annie Sloan Gold Size. We offer leaf metal in Brass, Aluminium and Copper.
Aluminium leaf is also known as 'Imitation Silver'. To make it look like vintage silver, apply a light coat of Annie Sloan Dark Soft Wax when done.

Using Annie Sloan Gilding Wax is as easy as one, two, three! Discover how to get a beautiful metallic finish in this quick tutorial.
- Paint your piece of furniture with Chalk Paint®, moving your brush in all directions to create a rich, textured finish.
- Allow the paint to dry. This shouldn't take long – you just want the paint to feel dry to the touch.
- Use your fingers to rub Gilding Wax over any areas that you'd like to highlight, such as carvings.
- Highlight areas by building up the wax in layers.
